Beat the final boss, Slimey. I also was excited when you first met the Fairy because I knew it was gonna be good. All the scenes was detailed and enjoyable.

I suppose I interacted with the artifact chest a second time after flipping the first switch but other then that no. The hit chance is terrible annoying.

As for breaking the pattern, I'm not sure what you mean. Are you running through the game repeatedly without doing anything different?

Also, how does the affection system work? There is no way to display current affection, and when I got a "you have to do better if you want something good to happen" message after one dialogue with Emantha, reloading and spending all my gold on gifts and giving them to her didn't change a thing.

This game seems pretty good, but I feel very lost when playing, because so little is explained. Ah, and since there is absolutely no reason to fight mobs, constantly trying to get around them and battling them when caught is rather frustrating.

This game can be great, but so far it has been a quite frustrating experience. There's a quick walkthrough on ULMF: If you want to break it, you need to do the opposite of what they say.

Doing this will answer your question about the affection system, and it also starts reducing the number of mobs.

Nothing out of ordinary. Of course, now that I know what will be going on, the quote does make sense. But neither the preview, nor the first hour of the game have shown me anything saying that this game is not straightforward.

I played for over an hour being sure that I'm playing the main game, the main part. Apparently, it was just a prologue, but nothing made me think that.

The preview is just so generic, that it really doesn't tell you anything about the game and its plot. That's a fair interpretation, and one I should have accounted for.

Actually, i believed that the devoid of level mechanic is a game design choice intentionally made so that the players doesn't get discouraged replaying the cycles from initial level all the time, it also devoid the players from the chore of grinding every single new cycle.

Minor bug report, I think: Once you awaken Tiera, if you talk to her in her house at the start instead of opening the box, the box with 60g in it vanishes.

Another bug I noticed: Anyway, as great as the game is, I found it a little disappointing that your awakened party members don't interact much, besides that time in the ice temple and at the end.

Giving them a line of dialogue with the others the first time they're awoken with other awakened party members would help that a lot, I think.

You're right about both bugs, but I believe they were easy to fix. As for the interactions, this was the sort of thing I would have included more if I'd had more time, but I was on a tight schedule during my break month.

I will definitely add more if I make a version 2. I haven't had the time to finish this yet, but I've played it some--I'm glad I started before the revised version, honestly.

I understand why you felt the need to post that, but I will say that I felt it was more than obvious just from the original preview that the game was going to be anything but the standard type of game it parodied within the cycle.

And if I had any doubts, the name taken together with the first few hints made it pretty apparent that there was some sort of cycle going on.

I'm sorry to see that it wasn't as obvious to others, but I have a hard time seeing how anyone who has played and enjoyed TLS could not have predicted that there was going to be a twist that, well, twisted the genre and played with the apparent tropes.

And, of course, it's always nice to know that something you've worked hard to make hit someone just the way you intended it. So I have no idea how to melt the normaly unmeltable snow beyond the fire pillar.

I was actually considering focusing more on the actions of past versions of the characters, but I felt that ground had been covered a little too well by Planescape: So instead I focused on everyone becoming gestalt versions of past lives and the artificiality of the world.

This game is just great. Well, having an entire wiki for a short self-contained work like Ouroboros would be overkill, but there's nothing stopping anyone from throwing something up on Pastebin or Google Docs, as happened for Noxian Nights.

When you got the memory fragments you got the orb of transcendance for Ementha when you use the forge. I had added the link to your walkthrough to the paragraph detailing the game in the Misc info page.

I mean, one of the first steps is "2. Complete the quests in the City, until you have enough money to buy the Big Bomb. What Quests are there and how do you complete them?

I know it said it's a "spoiler-free walkthrough" but that is a non-sense. So while that was a pretty decent guide we still need a walktrough for Ouroboros.

Well, it's possible that someone create one. If that happens it would probably appear in any of the usual forums. I will try to keep an eye on them but I definitely have no intention for now at least of doing a walkthrough I had found another WT Ripett in the Collective you have to register to read it , but so far I hadn't take the time to check it properly.
